1.1 A bill for an act​
1.2 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for a grant to Agate Housing​
1.3 and Services for a shelter in Hennepin County.​
1.4 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; AGATE HOUSING AND SERVICES.​
1.6 $10,000,000 in fiscal year 2024 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner​
1.7 of human services for a grant to Agate Housing and Services to design, construct, equip,​
1.8 and furnish a shelter facility in the city of Minneapolis for those experiencing homelessness.​
1.9 This appropriation is available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to​
1.10 Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.​
1.11 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.​
