SHERIFF; AND TO ALLOW A COUNTY SHERIFF 18
TO COLLECT FEES FOR ATTEMPTED SERVICE IN 19
CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES. 20

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS: 22

SECTION 1. Arkansas Code § 21-6-307(a), concerning the fees that may 24
be charged by a county sheriff, is amended to read as follows: 25
(a) The following fees shall be charged by each of the sheriffs of the 26
several counties of the State of Arkansas: 27
(1) For serving or attempting to serve every summons, capias, 28
scire facias, attachment, writ of garnishment, writ of injunction, or 29
subpoena ............. $ 30.00; 30
(2) For serving a writ of execution, possession, ejectment, or 31
replevin ............. 100.00; 32
(3) For commission for receiving and paying money on execution 33
or process when lands or goods have been taken into custody, advertised, or 34
sold ............. 10%; 35
(4) For every return of a writ, summons, or subpoena, original 36

(5) For executing a writ of inquiry ............. 20.00; 2
(6) For executing a certificate of purchase for real estate 3
