1SENATE RESOLUTION

2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 

3to learn of the death of Helen E. Clymer Miller of Goodfield, 

4who passed away on May 13, 2025; and

5 WHEREAS, Helen Clymer Miller was born to Louis and Leah 

6Sharp Reeser in Congerville on March 14, 1933; she married 

7Marvin R. Clymer in Eureka on September 17, 1954; after his 

8death, she married Dale Miller in Danvers on June 24, 2000; and

9 WHEREAS, Helen Clymer Miller was a member of Rock Creek 

10Bible Church in Congerville; and

11 WHEREAS, Helen Clymer Miller was preceded in death by her 

12first husband; her second husband; her parents; her son, Jerry 

13Clymer; two brothers; and four sisters; and

14 WHEREAS, Helen Clymer Miller is survived by her children, 

15John Clymer, Janice Tracy, Jody McCooley, and Sarah McCooley; 

16four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; therefore, 

17be it

18 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL 

19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 

20Helen E. Clymer Miller and extend our sincere condolences to

1her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 

2further

3 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 

4presented to the family of Helen Clymer Miller as an 

5expression of our deepest sympathy.
