1.1 A bill for an act​
1.2 relating to veterans affairs; appropriating money for Metro Meals on Wheels.​
1.3 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.4 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; METRO MEALS ON WHEELS.​
1.5 (a) $468,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner​
1.6 of veterans affairs for a grant to Metro Meals on Wheels to provide:​
1.7 (1) home-delivered meals to veterans; and​
1.8 (2) technical, enrollment, fund-raising, outreach, and volunteer recruitment assistance​
1.9 to member programs.​
1.10 (b) The base appropriation is $468,000 in fiscal year 2024 and $0 in fiscal year 2025.​
