Kentucky HB 498: AN ACT relating to firearms. Create a new section of KRS Chapter 237 to define "assault weapon"; create a new section of KRS Chapter 527 to prohibit the possession of an assault weapon by a person under 21 years of age unless they are a member of the Armed Forces of the United States or a law enforcement officer; create penalties.
