1HOUSE RESOLUTION

2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 

3Representatives wish to congratulate the Chicago Brushmasters 

4on their successful fundraising efforts and commend them for 

5their continued support for the families of the State of 

6Illinois with their Kustom Kulture Charity Art Auction; and

7 WHEREAS, The Chicago Brushmasters are part of a Chicago 

8tradition, known by sign professionals across America as the 

9"Chicago Style", which has produced some of our nation's most 

10renowned and respected sign painters and designers for 100 

11years; and

12 WHEREAS, The Chicago Brushmasters are part of Chicago's 

13rich tradition in the world of custom signs and pinstriping 

14and the Windy City's legendary history in motorsports that 

15gave rise to the charitable initiative originating in 2003, 

16Milwaukee World of Wheels, which brought together some of the 

17midwest's top custom sign writers and pinstripers; gathering 

18annually, this group became known as the Pinstripe Legends and 

19have raised over $1,000,000 for charitable organizations in 

20the Brew Town Area; and

21 WHEREAS, Given the success of the Milwaukee World of 

22Wheels, the Chicago Brushmasters established the Kustom

1Kulture Charity Art Auctions in support of the Ronald McDonald 

2House, where over 40 of the midwest's top custom painters are 

3on hand every spring, producing hundreds of hand painted 

4Kustom Kulture art forms, including hot rod and race car body 

5panels, bike tanks and fenders, saddle bags, Kustom Kulture 

6panel art, and a vast array of motorsports and Chicago-themed 

7projects; and

8 WHEREAS, The Chicago Brushmasters have raised
