A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Merideth Murphy Pittman to the 1
Education Professional Standards Board. 2
WHEREAS, on February 8, 2022, in accordance with KRS 161.028 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2022-069, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Merideth Murphy Pittman 4
to the Education Professional Standards Board to replace Elizabeth Spradlin for a term 5
expiring June 30, 2022; and 6
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Merideth Murphy Pittman has been determined to meet the 8
requirements of KRS 161.028, representing middle school teachers; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Merideth Murphy 13
Pittman to the Education Professional Standards Board. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Merideth Murphy Pittman, 300 Venetian Way, Danville, 16
Kentucky 40422 and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, 17
Kentucky 40601. 18
