A N A C T
RELATING TO AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF NORTH PROVIDENCE TO ESTABLISH,
ADOPT, AND REAPPORTION THE TOWN COUNCIL VOTING DISTRICTS

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
SECTION 1. In all respects in which amendments to the local voting districts within the 1
town of North Providence, which amendment was adopted and approved by the town council of 2
the town of North Providence on May 3, 2022, may require ratification, confirmation, validation 3
or enactment by the general assembly, but in no other respects, the local reapportionment plan of 4
the local voting districts within the town of North Providence are hereby ratified, confirmed, 5
validated and enacted by the passage of this act. 6
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. 7
