1.1 A bill for an act​
1.2 relating to human services; appropriating money to Catholic Charities of St. Paul​
1.3 and Minneapolis for its operation of the homeless elders program.​
1.4 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; CATHOLIC CHARITIES HOMELESS ELDERS​
1.6 PROGRAM.​
1.7 $1,500,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $1,500,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from​
1.8 the general fund to the commissioner of human services for a grant to Catholic Charities of​
1.9 St. Paul and Minneapolis to operate its homeless elders program that helps homeless, isolated,​
1.10 and low-income older adults to move into stable housing.​
