 3 state; amending s. 8.0002, F.S.; redistricting the 
 4 state’s congressional districts in accordance with the 
 5 United States Decennial Census of 2020 (plan 
 6 EOGPCRP2026); reenacting s. 8.031, F.S., relating to 
 7 the election of representatives to Congress; 
 8 reenacting s. 8.051, F.S., relating to electronic maps 
 9 serving as the official maps of congressional 
 10 districts; reenacting s. 8.0611, F.S., relating to 
 11 severability; amending s. 8.07, F.S.; providing for 
 12 applicability of the act; providing effective dates.

 14 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 
 15 
 16 Section 1. Section 8.0002, Florida Statutes, is amended to 
 17 read: 
 18 (Substantial rewording of section.

 20 8.0002 Division of state into congressional districts.—For 
 21 the election of representatives to the United States House of 
 22 Representatives, the state is divided into 28 consecutively 
 23 numbered, single-member congressional districts of contiguous 
 24 territory, to be designated by such numbers as follows: 
 25 (1) District 1 is composed of: 
 26 (a) All of Escambia County. 
 27 (b) All of Okaloosa County. 
 28 (c) All of Santa Rosa County. 
 29 (d) That part of Walton County consisting of: 
 30 1. All of tracts 9501.03, 9501.04, 9503.06, 9505.02, 
 31 9506.04, 9506.07, 9506.08, and 9506.09. 
 32 2. That part of tract 9501.02 consisting of: 
 33 a. All of block group 3. 
 34 b. All of block group 4. 
 35 3. That part of tract 9503.03 consisting of: 
 36 a. That part of block group 1 consisting of blocks 0, 1, 2,
