1SENATE RESOLUTION

2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to 

3congratulate the Leo High School choir, the Lions, on being 

4selected to compete on Season 20 of America's Got Talent; and

5 WHEREAS, Leo High School is an all-boys Catholic school 

6located on Chicago's South Side; and

7 WHEREAS, The Lions, over the course of Season 20, 

8performed covers of such hits as "Centuries" by Fall Out Boy 

9and "Believer" by Imagine Dragons, among others; and

10 WHEREAS, The Lions earned a spot to compete against nine 

11other acts on the America's Got Talent season finale on 

12September 24, 2025, performing "Hall of Fame" by The Script 

13and attaining fourth place; and

14 WHEREAS, The Lions are led by music/choir director LaDonna 

15Hill; therefore, be it

16 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL 

17ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the 

18Leo High School choir, the Lions, on their achievement of 

19competing on Season 20 of America's Got Talent; and be it

1 RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be 

2presented to LaDonna Hill and the members of the Lions as a 

3symbol of our esteem and respect.
