A RESOLUTION
Commending the Glorious Women of Jubilee Christian Church and recognizing May 101
through 12, 2013, as Sister2Sister Weekend; and for other purposes.2
WHEREAS, the Glorious Women of Jubilee Christian Church International is planning its3
annual event for women tagged Sister2Sister to honor women, wives, and mothers; and4
WHEREAS, the event is designed to help women network with a diverse group of5
professionals and meet other inspiring groups of women to develop, enhance, and review6
their personal and professional life goals and objectives; and7
WHEREAS, this year's theme is "Live, Love, Laugh, and Learn"; and8
WHEREAS, the event is hosted on every Mother's Day Weekend to honor women, wives,9
and mothers for their hard work; and10
WHEREAS, it is also to empower, enrich, and educate women, thereby fostering11
togetherness and excellence in all our collective pursuits in the communities and homes12
where we belong; and13
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this worthy and distinguished event be14
appropriately recognized.15
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body16
commend Glorious Women of Jubilee Christian Church and recognize May 10 through 12,17
2013, as Sister2Sister Weekend.18
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed19
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Glorious Women of Jubilee Christian20
Church.21
