RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING SENATOR MARTIN M. LOONEY
ON HIS DISTINGUISHED LEGISLATIVE CAREER.
Resolved by this House:

WHEREAS, Martin M. Looney has devoted decades of exemplary 1
public service with integrity, diligence and unwavering commitment, 2
not only to the constituents he represented in the Connecticut General 3
Assembly but to all people of the State of Connecticut; and 4
WHEREAS, Martin M. Looney has served with distinction as a 5
member of both the House of Representatives and the Senate, including 6
in his role as President Pro Tempore of the Senate where he has 7
provided thoughtful leadership and guidance; and 8
WHEREAS, Martin M. Looney's dedication to public service reflects 9
the highest ideals of civic responsibility and has earned him the respect 10
and admiration of colleagues, constituents and community leaders 11
alike. 12

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the House of 13
Representatives hereby congratulates Senator Martin M. Looney on his 14
distinguished legislative career and extends its deepest appreciation for 15
his many years of service to the State of Connecticut; and 16
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the House of Representatives 17
wishes Senator Martin M. Looney continued success, good health and 18
fulfillment in all future endeavors; and 19
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the clerk of the House of 20
Representatives cause a copy of this resolution to be sent to Senator 21
Martin M. Looney as an expression of honor and gratitude. 22
