1 AN ACT concerning safety.

2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 

3represented in the General Assembly:

4 Section 5. The Energy Efficient Building Act is amended by 

5changing Sections 10 and 55 as follows:

6 (20 ILCS 3125/10)

7 Sec. 10. Definitions. In this Act: 

8 "Agency" means the Environmental Protection Agency. 

9 "ANSI/IES standards" has the meaning given to that term in 

10the Responsible Outdoor Lighting Control Act. 

11 "Board" means the Capital Development Board. 

12 "Building" includes both residential buildings and 

13commercial buildings. 

14 "Code" means the latest published edition of the 

15International Code Council's International Energy Conservation 

16Code as adopted by the Board, including any published 

17supplements adopted by the Board and any amendments and 

18adaptations to the Code that are made by the Board. 

19 "Commercial building" means any building except a building 

20that is a residential building, as defined in this Section.

21 "Light trespass" has the meaning given to that term in the 

22Responsible Outdoor Lighting Control Act.

23 "Lumen" has the meaning given to that term in the
