AN ACT CONCERNING THE FILING OF HIGHWAY USE TAX
RETURNS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:

That chapter 222a of the general statutes be amended to require 1
carriers to file returns for the highway use tax on an annual, rather than 2
a monthly, basis. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the frequency of filing highway use tax returns for affected
carriers.
