R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Gabriel Roman Del Gallo has been named salutatorian
of the Class of 2023 at Calallen High School in Corpus Christi, and
he indeed merits special recognition for receiving this significant
honor; and
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
highest academic standards; in securing his place as one of the two
top-ranking students in his class, Mr. Del Gallo demonstrated a
thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, and his
attainment of this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement
of a notable high school career; and
WHEREAS, In addition to the pride inherent in being
recognized for his hard work, he has gained the opportunity to
address his fellow seniors at commencement and to reflect on their
shared history as well as their hopes and ambitions; and
WHEREAS, During his years at Calallen High School, Gabriel
Roman Del Gallo has earned the respect and admiration of both his
teachers and classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability and
commitment to excellence have opened the way to a bright and
promising future for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore,

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Gabriel Roman Del Gallo on
graduating as salutatorian of the Calallen High School Class of
2023 and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success as
he begins the next exciting chapter of his life.
