A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION1
STATING FINDINGS OF THE LEGISLATURE AND APPROVING PENDING RULES OF THE IDAHO2
DEPARTMENT OF LANDS REVIEWED BY THE SENATE RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENT3
COMMITTEE.4
Be It Resolved by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:5
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 67-5291, Idaho Code, the Legislature must6
approve pending administrative rules by adoption of a concurrent resolu-7
tion; and8
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 67-5291, Idaho Code, any9
pending rule that is not approved by adoption of a concurrent resolution10
shall expire upon adjournment sine die of the legislative session during11
which the agency submits the pending rule to the Legislature for review; and12
WHEREAS, the Senate Resources and Environment Committee reviewed pend-13
ing rules adopted by the Idaho Department of Lands; and14
WHEREAS, the Legislature finds that it is in the public interest to15
adopt this resolution.16
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the members of the Second Regular Ses-17
sion of the Sixty-seventh Idaho Legislature, the Senate and the House of Rep-18
resentatives concurring therein, that the following pending rules adopted19
by the Idaho Department of Lands, pursuant to the Administrative Procedure20
Act and submitted through the Office of the Administrative Rules Coordina-21
tor to the Legislature for review during the 2024 legislative session and re-22
viewed by the Senate Resources and Environment Committee, be, and the same23
are hereby approved: 20.03.01, Rules Governing Dredge and Placer Mining Op-24
erations in Idaho, Docket No. 20-0301-2301.25
