awareness; and

Whereas, Kennedi Jeter
is a graduate of the University of South Carolina Upstate, where she earned a

Whereas, she has been
an active participant in Miss America for the past five years, one of the nation's
leading providers of scholarship assistance, which empowers young women to
champion meaningful community initiatives; and

Whereas, Kennedi
Jeter's platform, Mending Minds Meets Ministry, is inspired by the Second
Epistle to Timothy 1:7 and is dedicated to promoting mental health education, increasing
awareness, and expanding access to vital resources in communities, schools, and
faith-based organizations; and

Whereas, her platform is
deeply rooted in her personal journey, including the loss of her mother to leukemia
at the age of twelve, an experience that led her to confront high-functioning
anxiety and depression; and

Whereas, over the past
five years, through Mending Minds Meets Ministry, she has impacted more than
25,000 students, educators, parents, and faith leaders by sharing her

about mental health in schools, churches, and communities, encouraging
individuals to seek help, healing, and hope; and
