AN ACT PERMITTING MOTOR VEHICLE REGISTRATION
INDEPENDENT OF EMISSIONS INSPECTION REQUIREMENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:

That subsection (n) of section 14-164c of the general statutes be 1
amended to permit the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles to register a 2
motor vehicle even if such motor vehicle is not in compliance with the 3
emissions inspection requirements of chapter 246a of the general 4
statutes. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To permit the registration of a motor vehicle independent of the motor
vehicle's compliance with emissions inspection requirements.
