1.2 relating to higher education; appropriating money for the Minnesota Green Iron​
1.3 Initiative at the University of Minnesota's Natural Resources Research Institute.​
1.4 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATIONS; MINNESOTA GREEN IRON INITIATIVE.​
1.6 $9,000,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $9,000,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from​
1.7 the general fund to the Board of Regents of the University of Minnesota for the Natural​
1.8 Resources Research Institute's Minnesota Green Iron Initiative to advance industrial​
1.9 decarbonization using hydrogen, renewable energy resources, infrastructure, and strong​
1.10 community engagement.​
