1.2 relating to education; requiring notice of procedural safeguards for special​
1.3 education; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 125A.​
1.4 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. [125A.421] NOTICE OF PROCEDURAL SAFEGUARDS;​
1.6 TRANSLATION.​
1.7 The Department of Education must develop and maintain an oral translation of the notice​
1.8 for procedural safeguards provided to a parent or guardian of a child with a disability.​
1.9 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective for the 2026-2027 school year and later.​
