AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE TOWNS OF OCEAN ISLE BEACH AND SUNSET 2
BEACH TO ENROLL THEIR EMPLOYEES OR RETIREES IN THE 3
TEACHERS' AND STATE EMPLOYEES' COMPREHENSIVE MAJOR 4
MEDICAL PLAN. 5
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 6
SECTION 1.(a) Section 29.32 of S.L. 2005-276 reads as rewritten: 7
"SECTION 31.26.(j) This section applies toto: 8
(1) Bladen, Cherokee, Rutherford, Washington, and Wilkes Counties only, 9
and 10
(2) The Town of Forest City City, the Town of Ocean Isle Beach, and the 11
Town of Sunset Beach only." 12
SECTION 1.(b) Section 31.26(j) of S.L. 2004-124 reads as rewritten: 13
"SECTION 31.26.(k) This section becomes effective July 1, 2004, and expires 14
June 30, 2006.2004." 15
SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2006. 16
