relating to capital improvements; authorizing the sale and issuance of state1.2
bonds; appropriating money for a veterans home in Montevideo.1.3
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:1.4
Section 1. VETERANS NURSING HOME; MONTEVIDEO.1.5
Subdivision 1. Appropriation. $....... is appropriated from the bond proceeds fund1.6
to the commissioner of administration to design, construct, furnish, and equip a veterans1.7
home in Montevideo.1.8
Subd. 2. Nonstate contributions. The commissioner of administration may accept1.9
contributions of land or money from private individuals, businesses, local governments,1.10
veterans service organizations, and other nonstate sources for the purpose of providing1.11
matching funding when soliciting federal funding for the development of the home.1.12
Subd. 3. Bond sale. To provide the money appropriated in subdivision 1 from the1.13
state bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of management and budget shall sell and1.14
issue bonds of the state in an amount up to $....... in the manner, upon the terms, and with1.15
the effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the1.16
Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.1.17
EFFECTIVE DATE. This section is effective the day following final enactment.1.18
