HOUSE BILL NO. 1737

AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF 1
HUMPHREYS COUNTY FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING AN EMERGENCY CARE 2
UNIT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025. 3
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 4
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 5
necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any money in the General 6
Fund not otherwise appropriated to the Board of Supervisors of 7
Humphreys County for the purpose of providing funding for the 8
construction of an emergency care unit for the fiscal year 9
beginning July 1, 2024, and ending June 30, 2025 10
...............................................$ 4,000,000.00. 11
SECTION 2. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 12
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the General Fund not 13
otherwise appropriated upon warrants issued by the State Fiscal 14
Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue the warrants 15
upon requisitions signed by the proper person, officer or officers 16
in the manner provided by law. 17

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from 18
