1.1 A bill for an act​
1.2 relating to agriculture; appropriating money for the Minnesota Black Farmers​
1.3 Association to purchase advanced 21st century farming equipment for use by a​
1.4 cooperative of Black veteran farmers.​
1.5 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.6 Section 1. ADVANCED 21ST CENTURY FARMING EQUIPMENT FOR BLACK​
1.7 VETERAN FARMERS.​
1.8 The commissioner of agriculture must award a grant to the Minnesota Black Farmers​
1.9 Association to purchase advanced 21st century farming equipment, including skid steers​
1.10 and John Deere tractors with attachments, for use by members of a cooperative of Black​
1.11 veteran farmers.​
1.12 Sec. 2. APPROPRIATION.​
1.13 $2,500,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner​
1.14 of agriculture for a grant to the Minnesota Black Farmers Association to purchase advanced​
1.15 21st century farming equipment for use by members of a cooperative of Black veteran​
1.16 farmers.​
