A senate RESOLUTION

TO EXPRESS PROFOUND SORROW UPON THE PASSING OF Laura

and the Jefferson County Board in Georgia for over forty-two years; and

time, Mrs. Huggins enjoyed canning fruits and vegetables, playing the piano,
sewing, reading, and helping others. The town of Estill designated March 8,
2017, as "Laura Lorine Patterson Huggins Day" in her honor; and

Whereas, she was
baptized as a Jehovah's Witness in the early 1970s and was a member of the
Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Hampton. She developed a deep knowledge
along with a great love for both Jehovah and Jesus. Her dedication led her to
become a "pioneer minister" in the congregation; and

Whereas, Mrs. Huggins preceded
in death by her husband, Professor Willie W. Huggins; her parents; son, Dwight

and sisters." She will be greatly missed. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:
