Beit enactedbytheGeneralAssemblyofVirginia:
1.§1.TheOfficeoftheStateInspectorGeneral(theOffice)shall(i)developaplantofulfillits
statutoryobligationtofullyinvestigateallcomplaintsit  receivesallegingabuse,neglect,orinadequate
careata  statepsychiatrichospitaland(ii)submitsuchplantotheChairmenoftheHouseCommittee
onHealthandHumanServicesandtheSenateCommitteeonEducationandHealthbyNovember1,
2024.TheOfficeshallalsosubmitanannualreporttotheGeneralAssemblyonorbeforeDecember1
ofeachyearthatstatesthenumberofsuchcomplaintsreceivedbytheOfficeduringthepriorfiscal
yearandthenumberofsuchcomplaintsthatwerefullyinvestigatedbytheOffice.
