1.1 A bill for an act​
1.2 relating to taxation; extending the expiration of the Hennepin County and Ramsey​
1.3 County deed and mortgage taxes; amending Minnesota Statutes 2024, sections​
1.4 383A.80, subdivision 4; 383B.80, subdivision 4.​
1.5 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 383A.80, subdivision 4, is amended to read:​
1.7 Subd. 4.Expiration.The authority to impose the tax under this section expires January​
1.8 1, 2028 2036.​
1.9 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective for all deeds and mortgages acknowledged​
1.10 on or after July 1, 2026.​
1.11 Sec. 2. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 383B.80, subdivision 4, is amended to read:​
