amending s. 30.10, F.S.; authorizing sheriffs' offices 3
to be located at any location in the counties, rather 4
than requiring the offices to be at county seats; 5
providing an effective date. 6

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 8

Section 1. Section 30.10, Florida Statutes, is amended to 10
read: 11
30.10 Place of office.—The place of office of every 12
sheriff may shall be at any location within the county lines 13
seat of the county. 14
Section 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law. 15
