SENATE BILL NO. 2124

AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION OF CORONAVIRUS STATE FISCAL 1
RECOVERY FUNDS TO THE THOMASVILLE WATER ASSOCIATION IN RANKIN 2
COUNTY TO DEFRAY EXPENSES FOR THE ASSOCIATION'S WATER SYSTEM FOR 3
FISCAL YEAR 2023; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 4
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 5
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much thereof as may be 6
necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any money in the 7
Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund to the Thomasville Water 8
Association, Inc. in Rankin County to defray expenses for the 9
improvement of the association's water system for the fiscal year 10
beginning July 1, 2022, and ending 11
June 30, 2023...................................... $ 3,200,000.00. 12
SECTION 2. The money herein appropriated shall be paid by 13
the State Treasurer out of any money in the State Treasury to the 14
credit of the proper fund or funds as set forth in this act, upon 15
warrants issued by the State Fiscal Officer, and the State Fiscal 16
Officer shall issue his warrants upon requisitions signed by the 17
proper person, officer or officers, in the manner provided by law. 18

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from 19
