RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE REAUTHORIZATION OF THE
COMMUNITY INVESTMENT FUND BOARD AND PROGRAM.
Resolved by this Assembly:

WHEREAS, the Community Investment Fund 2030 Board was 1
established pursuant to section 32-285a of the general statutes to carry 2
out certain duties, including, but not limited to, reviewing applications 3
for funds from bonds of the state for certain eligible projects and 4
submitting to the Governor a list of eligible projects that the board 5
recommends be funded; 6
WHEREAS, subsection (e) of section 32-285a of the general statutes 7
requires that the General Assembly affirm by resolution the 8
reauthorization of the Community Investment Fund 2030 Board and the 9
program provided for under such section prior to the State Bond 10
Commission authorizing the issuance of bonds for the purpose of 11
funding eligible projects for the fiscal years ending June 30, 2028, to June 12
30, 2032, inclusive; and 13
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the state to reauthorize the 14

Community Investment Fund 2030 Board and the program provided for 15
under section 32-285a of the general statutes; 16
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Community 17
Investment Fund 2030 Board and the program provided for under 18
section 32-285a of the general statutes is reauthorized. 19
