IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

Mr. FITZPATRICK submitted the following resolution; which was referred to
the Committee on Rules
RESOLUTION
Providing for consideration of the bill (H.R. 6636) to
advance sensible priorities.
Resolved, That immediately upon adoption of this res-1
olution, the House shall proceed to the consideration in 2
the House of the bill (H.R. 6636) to advance sensible pri-3
orities. All points of order against consideration of the bill 4
are waived. The amendment in the nature of a substitute 5
specified in section 3 of this resolution shall be considered 6
as adopted. The bill, as amended, shall be considered as 7
read. All points of order against provisions in the bill, as 8
amended, are waived. The previous question shall be con-9
sidered as ordered on the bill, as amended, and on any 10

further amendment thereto, to final passage without inter-1
vening motion except: (1) one hour of debate equally di-2
vided and controlled by Representative Fitzpatrick of 3
Pennsylvania or a designee and an opponent; and (2) one 4
motion to recommit. 5
SEC. 2. Clause 1(c) of rule XIX shall not apply to 6
the consideration of H.R. 6636. 7
SEC. 3. The amendment in the nature of a substitute 8
referred to in the first section of this resolution is an 9
amendment in the nature of a substitute received for 10
printing in the portion of the Congressional Record des-11
ignated for that purpose in clause 8 of rule XVIII dated 12
at least one day before the consideration of H.R. 6636, 13
if submitted by Representative Fitzpatrick of Pennsyl-14
vania. If more than one such amendment is submitted, 15
then only the last amendment submitted shall be consid-16
ered as adopted. 17
