A RESOLUTION
Congratulating Atlanta FaZe for winning the 2023 Major II Call of Duty League1
Championship and Chris "Simp" Lehr for being named MVP; and for other purposes.2
WHEREAS, owned by Atlanta Esports Ventures, Atlanta FaZe represents a major3
investment into Atlanta's e-sports; and4
WHEREAS, this team is considered one of the best in the world, and its roster is composed5
of star players Chris "Simp" Lehr, Tyler "aBeZy" Pharris, McArthur "Cellium" Jovel, and6
Austin "SlasheR" Liddicoat; and7
WHEREAS, all members of the team posted positive K/D ratios with Tyler "aBeZy" Pharris8
at 111/102, McArthur "Cellium" Jovel at 96/79, Austin "SlasheR" Liddicoat at 95/83, and9
Chris "Simp" Lehr at 107/99; and10
WHEREAS, in the Major II tournament, Atlanta FaZe went 4-0 with wins against Boston11
Breach, Toronto Ultra, Minnesota Rokkr, and L.A. Thieves; and12

WHEREAS, Chris "Simp" Lehr was named MVP of the tournament after posting an13
impressive 107/99 K/D and 1.08 K/D ratio, along with 73 non-traded kills and 1:33 Hill14
Time; and15
WHEREAS, as this magnificent team earned its well-deserved reputation for excellence by16
performing with courage and precision over months of training and competition, it is17
abundantly proper to call them champions.18
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that19
the members of this body congratulate Atlanta FaZe for winning the 2023 Major II Call of20
Duty League Championship as well as player Chris "Simp" Lehr for being named MVP and21
extend their best wishes for continued success.22
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized23
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to24
Atlanta FaZe.25
