Statement of purpose of bill as introduced: This bill proposes to amend 3 12
V.S.A. § 104 to require the Secretary of State, beginning in the 2027–2028 13
biennium, to include the year of passage in the number assigned to all acts of 14
the General Assembly with the number assigned to an act taking the following 15
form: “Act No. [NUMBER]-[YEAR].” 16
