1HOUSE RESOLUTION

2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 

3Representatives wish to congratulate the Carrollton High 

4School softball team, the Lady Hawks, on winning the 2024-2025 

5Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Class 1A State 

6Championship; and

7 WHEREAS, The Carrollton High School softball team ended 

8its 2024-2025 season with a stellar 38-1 record, a new school 

9record for most wins; the team started the season with a 

1030-game winning streak and garnered 68 home runs, a new single 

11season record for the school and IHSA; and

12 WHEREAS, The Carrollton High School softball team won the 

13Lincolnwood Regional Championship, the Calhoun Sectional 

14Championship, the Athens Super-Sectional Championship, and the 

15IHSA Class 1A State Championship for the first time in school 

16history; and

17 WHEREAS, The Carrollton High School softball team is led 

18by Head Coach Travis Klingler and Assistant Coaches Amelia 

19Uhles and Dana Grafford; and

20 WHEREAS, The Carrollton High School softball team is 

21comprised of freshman Blake Driskill, sophomores Lilly Bauer,

1Brookelyn Eilerman, Hayden McMurtrie, and Courtney Waldheuser, 

2and seniors Megan Camden, Abby Flowers, Lauren Flowers, Vanna 

3Holmes, Hannah Uhles, and Daci Walls; and

4 WHEREAS, The Carrollton High School softball team achieved 

5a nearly perfect, historically dominant season, concluding 

6with it earning a championship trophy; therefore, be it

7 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 

8HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 

9we congratulate the Carrollton High School softball team, the 

10Lady Hawks, on winni
