1.1 A bill for an act​
1.2 relating to early childhood education; appropriating money for a grant to​
1.3 Independent School District No. 742, St. Cloud, for preschool programs.​
1.4 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; ST. CLOUD AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT​
1.6 PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS GRANT.​
1.7 Subdivision 1.Department of Children, Youth, and Families.The sums indicated in​
1.8 this section are appropriated from the general fund to the Department of Children, Youth,​
1.9 and Families for the fiscal years designated.​
1.10 Subd. 2.St. Cloud Area School District preschool programs grant.(a) For a grant​
1.11 to Independent School District No. 742, St. Cloud, for the Preschool 4 Success program​
1.12 operated with the Rotary Club of St. Cloud:​

1.15 (b) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 16B.98, subdivision 14, up to three​
1.16 percent of the appropriation is available for grant administration.​
1.17 (c) This is a onetime appropriation. The fiscal year 2026 appropriation is available until​
1.18 June 30, 2027. The fiscal year 2027 appropriation is available until June 30, 2028.​
