1 AN ACT concerning State government.

2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 

3represented in the General Assembly:

4 Section 5. The State Parks Designation Act is amended by 

5adding Section 3.9 as follows:

6 (20 ILCS 840/3.9 new)

7 Sec. 3.9. Senator Scott Bennett Memorial Bridge at 

8Kickapoo State Recreation Area. The railroad trestle bridge 

9that is part of the Kickapoo Rail Trail and that is located at 

10the Kickapoo State Recreation Area in Vermilion County shall 

11be known as the Senator Scott Bennett Memorial Bridge. Subject 

12to appropriation, appropriate plaques may be erected by the 

13Department of Natural Resources in recognition of the Senator 

14Scott Bennett Memorial Bridge.
