Mr. CARTER of Georgia introduced the following bill; which was referred to
the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, and in addition to
the Committee on Appropriations, for a period to be subsequently deter-
mined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions
as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned

To limit the provision of Federal funding to New York City
during any period Zohran Mamdani is mayor, and for
other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Moving American 4
Money Distant from Anti-National Interests Act’’ or the 5
‘‘MAMDANI Act’’. 6

SEC. 2. LIMITATION ON FEDERAL FUNDS FOR NEW YORK 1
CITY IF ZOHRAN MAMDANI IS MAYOR. 2
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, during 3
any period in which Zohran Mamdani is mayor of New 4
York, New York— 5
(1) any unobligated Federal funds available for 6
New York, New York, for any purpose are hereby 7
rescinded; and 8
(2) no Federal funds may be obligated or ex-9
pended for any purpose to New York, New York. 10
