A JOINT RESOLUTION ADJOURNING THE 2017 REGULAR SESSION OF THE
GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO A DATE CERTAIN, AS PROVIDED BY LAW.

Whereas, G.S. 120-11.1 provides for the 2017 Regular Session of the General
Assembly to convene at 12:00 noon on January 11, 2017, and on that day meet solely to elect
officers, adopt rules, and otherwise organize the session and provides that, when they adjourn
that day, they stand adjourned until 12:00 noon on Wednesday, January 25, 2017; Now,
therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

SECTION 1. When the Senate and the House of Representatives adjourn on
Wednesday, January 11, 2017, they stand adjourned to reconvene on Wednesday, January 25,
2017, at 12:00 noon.
SECTION 2. This resolution is effective upon ratification.
In the General Assembly read three times and ratified this the 11

2017.
