HOUSE BILL NO. 1743

AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF 1
GREENE COUNTY TO ASSIST IN PAYING THE COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH 2
OVERLAYING CRENSHAW ROAD AND MAKING DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS ALONG 3
AND NEAR SUCH ROAD, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2024. 4
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 5
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 6
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 7
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Board of Supervisors of 8
Greene County, Mississippi, to assist in paying the costs 9
associated with overlaying Crenshaw Road and making drainage 10
improvements along and near such road, for the fiscal year 11
beginning July 1, 2023, and ending June 30, 2024..... $ 125,000.00. 12
SECTION 2. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 13
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 14
not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 15
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 16
her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 17
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 18

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from 19
