A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Ms. Natorra Moody; and for other purposes.1
WHEREAS, Ms. Moody is an exceptional citizen who has faithfully served the communities2
of the Okefenokee Regional Library System; the Alma-Bacon Public Library, where she was3
branch manager; and the State of Georgia; and4
WHEREAS, Ms. Moody works to realize the library's mission of contributing to the success5
of the citizens of its diverse community through many initiatives, including the launch of a6
prom dress donation campaign that helps students who cannot afford formal wear obtain7
clothing and accessories freely at the library; and8
WHEREAS, Ms. Moody invests in her community by building meaningful connections9
among library staff, training staff, and patrons alike on the resources and services available10
through the library as well as engaging with the community in a manner that is both11
approachable and interactive; and12
WHEREAS, Ms. Moody sets a shining example and has been named Public Library13
Employee of the Year by the Georgia Library Service, and it is an honor to recognize her for14
her efforts and positive contributions to our state.15

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body16
recognize and commend Ms. Natorra Moody for her many wonderful contributions on behalf17
of the citizens of Georgia and extend sincere best wishes for future health and happiness.18
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed19
to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Ms. Natorra20
Moody.21
