certain extraordinary individuals it wishes to recognize for their
valued contributions to the success and progress of society and publicly

Chabad-Lubavitch transformed from a relatively small Hasidic group into
a global movement with institutions and followers across the world; and

 WHEREAS, The Rebbe's vision was characterized by a deep commitment

denominations and also non-Jews; he often advocated for building bridges
between all communities and emphasized the importance of moral values in
a troubled world; and

 WHEREAS, Rabbi Schneerson's passing in 1994 left a profound void in
the Jewish world, but his legacy lives on; his teachings continue to
guide the Chabad movement and countless individuals, and his emphasis on
unity, education, and action remains as relevant as ever; and

religious observance but about inspiring a movement toward greater
spiritual awareness, social responsibility, and unity within the Jewish
people; and

 WHEREAS, The unveiling of the "Lubavitcher Rebbe Way" sign on April

 WHEREAS, The Rebbe's life was a beacon of kindness, love, and
dedication to others, values that continue to inspire people worldwide;
