1.2 relating to economic development; appropriating money for a grant to Interfaith​
1.3 Action.​
1.4 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. EMERGENCY FAMILY SHELTERS; ACQUISITION AND​
1.6 REHABILITATION.​
1.7 $....... is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of employment and​
1.8 economic development for a grant to Interfaith Action for the acquisition and rehabilitation​
1.9 of space to expand shelter capacity and improve services for families experiencing​
1.10 homelessness. Grant proceeds may be used for child-friendly spaces, trauma-informed​
1.11 design, and on-site support services. This appropriation is available until the project is​
1.12 completed or abandoned.​
