1.1 A bill for an act​
1.2 relating to disaster relief; exempting Beltrami County from the cost-share​
1.3 requirement for state disaster assistance.​
1.4 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. NO LOCAL SHARE REQUIRED.​
1.6 Notwithstanding the 25 percent applicant share required under Minnesota Statutes,​
1.7 section 12B.35, upon application and subject to the other requirements under Minnesota​
1.8 Statutes, chapter 12B, the commissioner of public safety must reimburse Beltrami County​
1.9 for 100 percent of eligible costs incurred by the county due to the severe storm event​
1.10 identified in Emergency Executive Order 25-06.​
1.11 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective retroactively from June 21, 2025.​
