1SENATE RESOLUTION

2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to 

3congratulate the North Central District of the NANBPWC, Inc. 

4(National Association of Negro Business and Professional 

5Women's Clubs) as they prepare to host the North Central 

6District Regional Conference in Chicago on May 15-17, 2026; 

7and

8 WHEREAS, NANBPWC has empowered women through leadership 

9development, economic advancement, and community service for 

10more than 50 years and is committed to creating opportunities 

11that strengthen individuals and the communities they serve; 

12and

13 WHEREAS, NANBPWC's regional conference will bring together 

14business and professional women, entrepreneurs, community 

15leaders, and advocates from across the North Central region; 

16and

17 WHEREAS, NANBPWC and the City of Chicago are committed to 

18supporting organizations that uplift and empower women in 

19business and leadership; therefore, be it

20 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL 

21ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the

1North Central District of the NANBPWC, Inc. (National 

2Association of Negro Business and Professional Women's Clubs) 

3as they prepare to host the North Central District Regional 

4Conference in Chicago on May 15-17, 2026; and be it further

5 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 

6presented to NANBPWC as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
