SENATERESOLUTIONNO. 201
WHEREAS
,  Membersof  theDallasRegionalChamberare
gatheringin Austinon February22,2023,to celebrateDallas
RegionalChamberDay at the StateCapitol;and
WHEREAS, Witha staffof 55 dedicatedprofessionalsand
morethan700 membercompanies,the DallasRegionalChamberhelps
to strengthenthelocalbusinesscommunityby advocatingfor
pro-growthpublicpolicies,workingto improvetheeducation
system,andpromotingdiversity,equity,andinclusion;
moreover,thechamberhasspearheadeda numberof community
initiatives,suchas theTakeCareof Businesscampaign,which
led to morethan660,000additionalCOVID-19vaccinationsin the
Dallasarea;and
WHEREAS,  In2022,theDallasRegionalChamberwas
recognizedas a nationalChamberof the Yearby the Association
of Chamberof CommerceExecutives;thisprestigiousaccolade
honorschambersthathavedemonstratedsuperiororganizational
strengthandthathaveadvancedeconomicprosperity,public
education,and qualityof lifein theircommunities;and
WHEREAS,  TheDallasRegionalChamberhasplayedan
integralrolein the growthand vitalityof the Dallasareaand
beyond,andallthoseassociatedwiththeorganizationare
deservingof  recognitionfortheirdedicatedefforts;now,
therefore,be it
RESOLVED, ThattheSenateof theStateof Texas,88th
Legislature,herebyrecognizeFebruary22,2023,as  Dallas
RegionalChamberDayat theStateCapitolandcongratulatethe

organizationon its selectionas a 2022Chamberof the Yearby the
Associationof Chamberof CommerceExecutives.
