Whereas, the Youth in Government program is

Whereas, the purpose of the Young Men's
Christian Association Youth in Government program is to encourage our youth to develop
enthusiasm and appreciation for government and community affairs; and

Whereas, almost one thousand five hundred
students in the State are expected to participate this year, making the South
Carolina Youth in Government program one of the largest per capita in the
nation. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the
South Carolina House of Representatives,
by this resolution, authorize the Greenville Young Men's Christian Association
